Ernst & Young (EY) a multinational professional services organization and one of the Big Four accounting firms are set to hire 14,000 new employees for their global delivery center in India. EY currently employs 27, 000 people.

There has been a continuous stipulation for digital transformation and consulting services from worldwide and rival pressure from Deloitte and KPMG giving rise to hire more to expand their workforce. Similarly, other firms like Deloitte and KPMG are likely to hire 40,000 and 8,000 - 9,000 people respectively.

"We are no longer looking at the talent that is proficient in repetitive, standard, codified tasks as we have built more technology (using) automation (and) artificial intelligence into some of our basic delivery models," said Srinivasa Rao, global vice-chair at EY GDS to the prominent news agency.

He added, "Hence, we are looking and reaching for higher value talent. The areas we're looking at are typically advanced analytics, cybersecurity, automation, and machine learning, and (we are) continuing attention around artificial intelligence."

In an area like analytics, machine learning, cybersecurity, Artificial intelligence, and automation are getting high attention to growth.
