"What to do with mass unemployment? This is going to be a massive social challenge. There will be fewer and fewer jobs that a Robot cannot do better (than a human). These are not the things that I wish will happen. These are simply things that I think probably will happen."- Elon Musk. It is not only one remark that concerns us about the world where Artificial Intelligence (or simply AI) is at its zenith. There are many more remarks cautioning the dangerous threats that can be posed by AI. With a great mind like Bill Gates, a statement like this make us think twice of the threats that could be posed by a world of Machines- "I am in the camp that is concerned about AI. First, the machines will do a lot of jobs for us and not be super intelligent. They should be positive if we manage it well. A few decades after that though the intelligence is strong enough to be a concern. I agree with Elon Musk and some others on this and don't understand why some people are not concerned".
Obviously, there are various arguments over this burning topic where a majority of the people and philanthropists feel that the world of AI will actually give us a lot in terms of comfort, better life, and better services, telling the immense possibilities that AI could actually bring us in our lives. The development of Self Driving Cars where driverless cars are no more a dream but a reality, better healthcare services- where it is easy to predict and diagnose diseases, saving many lives, Fraud detection- for detecting frauds in the Financial sector, Chatbots- answering customer queries at any time in the absence of which would be impossible, Drones in the security sector strengthening the security of a country and how can we forget about the trendy online stores giving us the personalized experience as if the retailer already know us so well are all possible with the help of Artificial Intelligence.
The developments of Robots like Sophia and many Artificially intelligent robots deployed in the manufacturing sector which over a particular amount of time have learned and evolved put us in a state of the deep questioning -"what will the world of Artificial Intelligence offer us? Whether we will gain or lose every part of ourselves? Whether we will be destructed by our own Intelligent Machines or if still there would be chances to get safe from the hazardous conditions?
We are seeing a bunch of opportunities offered by the latest tech. There is much hype over it and the answer to the question -"whether the World of Artificial Intelligence is a Hell or Heaven?" is still to be discussed and analyzed to the depth, looking the technology from every perspective and coming to a conclusion thereafter.
But one thing is clear- Whether the technology is a foe or a friend, creation, and usage is in our hands. We are the creator of it and must hold the power to control it in rivalry times. The creator must not lose its power to its creation. It should use it to its own purpose. The other thought must come to a stoppage.
