This will be the great announcement and golden opportunity for the job seekers that the Cloud services company Zoho, will hire 1000 engineers in the next eighteen months, said by CEO Sridhar Vembu.
The top official confirmed that Zoho has about 300 employees in Tenkasi and 70 in Renigunta. But now his focus is to make this count triple in these markets as 700 and 200 new hiring respectively in the coming 18 months. And also they are looking forward to the markets like Amsterdam and Mexico.
In this conference, Vembu spotlighted to become the large global Indian company by expatiating our domestic and global business. At the same time, we are also planning to increase our headcount in rural areas like Tenkasi and Renigunta to reverse the brain drain. All though we will have offices around the globe 80% of employees will be Indian. Our revenues have been growing at 30% and very soon, we will be a $1 billion firm.
Currently, the strength of the firm is more than 7,000 people at its three different centers of which more than 6,500 are in Chennai. But now Zoho is planning to slow down hiring at Chennai location due to space constraint. But they are planning to enter in the new markets such as Singapore, Amsterdam, Dubai, and Mexico and increase the number of salespersons in existing markets such as China, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. It also has a sales office in rural Japan.
On Thursday, Zoho launched a new version of Zoho Office Suite, which comprises Cloud-based productivity software applications such as Zoho Writer and Zoho Notebook, all enhanced with Zoho AI-powered assistant ZIA.
