Genesys is looking for a Data Analyst who can conduct Data Cleansing actions on Finance, Customer, Vendor, and Product master data.

Summary of the Position
This role will involve assisting with overall operations of Data Quality on the Data Governance Program including data analysis, reporting, monitoring, defining data quality metrics of Genesys master data and work cross-functionally with business to assist and lead data cleansing efforts. This position will report to the Data Quality Sr. Analyst within CFO organization and based in Chennai, India.
In this role, the primary responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Manages end-to-end DQ reporting process, including defining reports & metrics
Continuous Data Quality metrics assessment and refine them as needed
Refresh and Monitor Data Quality dashboard
Conduct Data Cleansing actions on Finance, Customer, Vendor, and Product master data
Coordinate activities with Data Stewards (cleansing, data quality reports, SLAs)
Work closely with Technical Data Quality Analyst
BS/MS in computer science, MIS, Information Management and 23 years of experience in a related field
Strong understanding of databases/data structures and SQL
Expert in data analysis and usage of Tableau
Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
Prior experience in data cleansing efforts
Prior experience working with Data Quality Tool would be an asset
Professional and positive work attitude
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the company, including executives
Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility
