MDM Support Engineer

Symantec is hiring a Support Engineer who will be responsible for maintaining in PROD and Non-PROD environments including the performance and health of MDM landscape.

Job Description

As a MDM Support Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring stability and sustain activities of Informatica Master Data Platform and Informatica Data Quality 

  • At least 4 years of experience in the software industry
  • 2 or more years of experience developing software in Informatica MDM, IDQ, and PowerCenter
  • Monitor, investigate and perform root cause analysis of technical issues on the Informatica MDM platform. This includes all MDM components, e. g. batch data loads, SIF and custom Java-based web services, IDD, ActiveVOS, Message-based triggers, etc.
  • Responsible for maintaining in PROD and Non-PROD environments including the performance and health of MDM landscape
  • Act in the capacity of L2/L3 support to address MDM related issues by supporting defined SLA of production services
  • Liaison with the respective support groups for MDM on underlying dependent infrastructure platforms(e. g. Informatica ETL, IDQ, AddressDoctor, WebLogic, Teradata, Oracle)
  • Collaborate with the development team by prioritizing, planning, and delivering enhancements & production fixes in an agile-development approach and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analysis, debugging and troubleshooting skills, and persistence in problem-solving
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
