Sr. Analyst, Data Governance

Genesys is seeking a Sr. Analyst, Data Governance who can coordinate activities with Data Stewards (cleansing, data quality reports, SLAs).

We're looking for a team player, go-getter with ambition, with focus and strong understanding of data governance, business processes and data quality controls. This role will involve assisting with overall operations of Data Quality on the Data Governance Program including data analysis, reporting, monitoring, defining data quality metrics for Genesys critical data element.  

  • In this role, the primary responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
  • Manages end-to-end data quality reporting process, including defining reports & metrics 
  • Documentation of data governance processes, definition, and policy  
  • Continuous Data Quality metrics assessment and refine them as needed
  • Refresh and Monitor Data Quality dashboard  
  • Coordinate activities with Data Stewards (cleansing, data quality reports, SLAs)
  • Work closely with Technical Data Quality Analyst

  • BS/MS in computer science, MIS, or Information System and 7-10 years of experience in related field
  • Strong understanding of databases/data structures and SQL 
  • Good understanding of business processes 
  • Strong in data analysis and usage of Tableau 
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel 
  • Prior experience in data cleansing efforts 
  • Prior experience working with Data Quality Tool would be an asset
  • Professional and positive work attitude 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility
