Shell is looking for a Data Scientist who is responsible in creating Machine Learning models, tuning and productize the entire workflow.
Job Description
As part of the Data Science R & D team, the DS Application developer's key responsibility is to build our Data science development and production infrastructure and deployment of Data science solutions for Shell businesses.
Effective communication is critical for the role, as you will be engaging with business leaders, support functions and end-users throughout the company. Other key skills include a demonstrated ability to work independently, to drive and implement change and to scale processes in a fit-for-purpose manner.
Data Science Application Developer should have analytical abilities to interpret data, manage the huge volume of data, training models and interpretation of results through visualization.
In other words, the role entails:
Responsible in architect DS application development and deployment pipelines
Responsible in creating Machine Learning models, tuning and productize the entire workflow
Responsible for deploying PoC solutions to assets as Data science services, AI-based solutions to address sustainability, new energies, etc.
Understanding of Continuous Improvement/LEAN/Agile will be beneficial
Responsible to help business customers to interpret and put results of the Data science models into operations.
Keep abreast of the latest application development efforts in productize machine learning models.
