Genesys is looking for an Associate Software Engineer who has strong C#.NET development & debugging skills.
Entry Level professional, who shall perform routine activities related to applications development/Testing/Support/Maintenance/Enhancement. Focuses on learning and acquiring work skills/knowledge in the respective field s/he will be part of the core development team that works in Agile.
Produce high-quality code that is unit tested, reviewed, and checked in regularly
Be part of a Team that builds great software and troubleshoots and fixes customer problems
Communicate with product owners, stakeholders and fellow team members to identify system requirement
Collaborate with Support, Dev, QA, and Field teams to diagnose and troubleshoot complex customer issues and orchestrate development and testing of patches/hot-fixes.
Bachelor's preferably in computer science with 2+ years of development experience
Strong C#.NET development & debugging skills
Database experience with hands-on SQL knowledge
Good understanding of the REST APIs and its usage
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, Virtual machines
Familiarity with source control (Perforce, GIT, SVN) and issue tracking (Jira ideally) systems
Experience in unit tests and associated frameworks
Any experience with Angular (any version) is a nice to have
Software prototyping and debugging skills
Able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
