One of the hottest technologies leveraged by the businesses today, Robotic process automation (RPA) is often the most misleading term among its potential learners. Beginners often consider 'R' in RPA as Physical Robots which is completely invalid in the present context. Robot in Robotic process automation stands for the software Robots which mimic human behavior and are able to perform tasks without human intervention. As per Gartner "Robotic process automation (RPA), sometimes called smart automation or intelligent automation refers to the advanced technologies that can be programmed to perform a series of tasks that previously required human intervention.  It's faster, cheaper and scalable, and commonly used for things like reporting, accounts payable, customer feedback capture and sales quote preparation."

The manual working of certain works at the back offices in Businesses are often tiresome and require a greater interval of times to execute which are greatly reduced using RPA technology. Apart from eliminating human error RPA also provides the facility too early diagnosis of risks that could occur in the tasks given to it.
According to Grand View Research, Inc., the spending on RPA is expected to hit $8.75 billion by 2024. The investments on RPA could be accounted for its reliability and reduced costs. Businesses can be reliable on RPA for performing complex tasks which otherwise had required the human workforce.

There are some tasks which are always repeating. Often it becomes boring and unproductive for the potential employees to work the same task over and over again and also the greater lengths of time involved in certain works reduce the overall efficiency of businesses which are greatly controlled by RPA today. RPA using the latest technologies are embedded into the systems and execute task involving longer periods of time in comparatively lesser time. The processing speed is higher. So this reduces the time involvement by the potential employees to do a particular work and allow employees to give their time to other productive works in the organization.

The software robots involved in RPA are taken by many employees as the biggest hurdles in their employment. Due to the lack of knowledge of the field often RPA is taken as a system that could increase the number of unemployed employees due to its faster speed, lower error rates, and lower costs. But According to Harvard Business Review, most operations groups adopting RPA have promised their employees that automation would not result in layoffs.

There are various courses offered online for RPA and any beginner who wants to explore in the field can opt for these courses. The course that I found most useful (at least for me) is of Automation Anywhere. There is a list of some of the most important courses on RPA provided on the platform and also they are free to be enrolled easily by any learner.

Here is the link to it.

You can explore the different courses offered by the platform and start your journey of learning RPA today.
The technology is great and the future is immense for it. There is a time that is going to come in the future when every business is leveraging RPA to its best potential and the growth made by the business is Going to be directly proportional to its capability of using RPA.
